Electrolux Ideas Lab is looking for revolutionary ideas that inspire people around the world to enjoy tastier, healthier, and more sustainable home cooking in the future.
All ideas are welcomed: smartphone apps, food sharing programs, kitchen tools, lifehacks, or fully fledged business ideas. The possibilities are endless!
How to approach the theme
Your submission will be evaluated according to consumer insight, creativity, design, and also on a variety of other factors. When thinking about the needs consumers have in the future for products, services, accessories, and consumables in cooking, consider also the following important aspects:
REMEMBER YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE
Who is your solution for? Think carefully about your target audience and take a deep dive into their world. Is your target group the entire families, toddlers, school kids, teenagers, busy professionals, students, or the elderly? What does it take for future societies to prepare tasty and sustainable meals at home? We are interested in hearing about the challenges that you find and observe and the opportunities you discover in them.
CREATE WITH CONNECTIVITY
People are open to using new and emerging technologies to improve their everyday activities in ways that support their personal health and the health of their loved ones. Think about how new technologies or solutions can be used to improve people’s experience in home cooking. How can they be used to resolve unmet needs, especially when it comes to service and maintenance control, customization, and usability?

The winning idea will be rewarded a €10,000 cash prize and a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Sweden.
