National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year competition

Contest is open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry and who reside in the 50 United States, India, Canada (excluding Quebec), United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, Italy, China, Japan, Germany, France, Indonesia, Spain, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Taiwan.
National Geographic invites photographers to enter the 2016 Nature Photographer of the Year contest.

We’re looking for photos that showcase the awe-inspiring and diverse natural world around us. That could be a powerful wildlife shot, a stunning landscape, or a look at a complicated environmental issue — whatever nature means to you. 

The categories for submissions are: (1) Landscape, (2) Animal Portraits; (3) Action; (4) Environmental Issues.

Entry fees:-
The entry fee is US$15 per entry.

• Grand Prize: A 10-day trip for two to the Galápagos with National Geographic Expeditions

Each category will feature three winners:
• First Place: $2,500
• Second Place: $750 and a signed National Geographic book
• Third Place: $500
