Stuttgart International Festival

The Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film is one of the most outstanding events for animated film worldwide.

Any animated film including computer generated animation and combinations of life action and animation completed after October 01, 2014 may participate.

For participation in the International Competition, the student film competition Young Animation and the children’s film competition Tricks for Kids are admitted productions up to a running length of 35 minutes.

For participation in the student film competition Young Animation are admitted films produced by students or graduates of film schools, art colleges or other training institutions for animated film.

Animated short films and TV series for children can be submitted to the children’s film competition Tricks for Kids.

For participation in the feature-length film competition AniMovie are admitted productions from a running length of 60 minutes up.
The films must not have been released commercially in Germany prior to the Festival.

Etry fees
There are no entry fees.

Prizes
The various competition categories award cash prizes totalling more than 50,000 euros.
