The Charles Causley Poetry Competition

The contest is organised by the Charles Causley Trust. Entries must be in English.The poem/s may be on any subject; 40 lines of text maximum, no minimum. All individual poems must have a title. Entries must never have been published, self-published, published on any website or broadcast in any form nor currently entered in any other competition.

Postal Entries Only will be accepted.

Entries will be shortlisted by an expert panel and the final decision will be made by Sir Andrew Motion.

Entry fees:-
The first poem submitted costs £7. Subsequent entries in the same submission cost £5 per poem.

• 1st prize: £2,000
• 2nd prize: £250
• 3rd prize: £100
• There will also be 5 Highly Commended Awards of £50 each.
