CONCAUSA is an initiative organized by America Solidaria, with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Its purpose is to mobilize youth across the American continent to present proposals enabling them to become the generation to end poverty on the American continent. This year we want more 15 to 17 year olds who are living in the U.S. to participate by showcasing their projects in their community.
- A transformational experience through the trip, where they will meet and share with other young people from across the continent with similar interests to their own. They will also learn about other projects, and how to maintain their project and contribute to their communities.
- The chance to share their projects through Web platforms endorsed by our institutions.
- The three most outstanding proposals will receive financial support in the amount of US$ 1,000 as seed capital for their projects.
- They will form part of a solidarity action network present across the continent, through which they can coordinate social transformation actions for a sustainable future.
