The Women in Finance Scholarship is aimed at encouraging and supporting talented women in the field of finance, particularly those pursuing careers in financial asset management, market risk management and derivatives finance within the capital markets.
Applications are welcomed from female citizens of all countries who are enrolled in a post-graduate program (Master’s or PhD) at an accredited university. You must be enrolled and attending the program on a full-time basis during the 2021 – 2022 academic year.

FINCAD HOPE (Helping Other People Effectively) is a volunteer, employee-led initiative, aimed at giving back to our local and global community.
All FINCADians receive two paid days off per calendar year to perform volunteer work. FINCAD HOPE researches organizations for suitable projects then matches the need with talents inside the company to recruit volunteers.
Regular fundraising efforts are held in support of the Surrey Food Bank, the Surrey Christmas Bureau, BC Children’s Hospital, BC and Yukon Easter Seals, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Surrey Memorial CAPSU, international disaster relief, and more.
FINCAD supports higher standards of professionalism in financial management by providing the Western Canadian site and proctors for the annual Financial Risk Manager certification examination. We are an active member of the BC Technology Industry Association and the Fraser Valley Technology Network and participate in events sponsored by other technology and financial industry groups.
Awards:- Every year, an award of US$20,000 is given to one eligible woman to help support graduate-level studies in Finance, with 50% of the award being paid directly to the winner and the remaining 50% being paid to the educational institution to directly assist with tuition.
