GSK, one of the world’s leading science-led pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, is seeking partners with innovative new technologies, platforms, or ways of working to engage healthcare professionals and help keep them informed about GSK’s science, clinical pathways, and provide them with accurate information about disease areas specific to vaccines. GSK is targeting partners with ready-to-go methods, platforms, channels, and/or technologies, and insights on how to apply those to the world of healthcare professionals, specifically working in vaccines.
An important challenge for GSK Vaccines is to keep healthcare professionals (HCPs) informed about the latest science on topics such as disease awareness, immunizations, and vaccine development and best practices. Traditional routes to accomplish this include in-person visits by sales and medical representatives with HCPs and the use of digital channels such as webinars, websites and emails. Even before the current pandemic curtailed office visits by representatives, it was difficult to reach and inform every HCP, a situation that has only become more challenging in the absence of face-to-face meetings. There are a variety of reasons some HCPs are difficult to reach. Some may suffer from information overload and although they receive the information, they don’t engage. Others may not receive the information due to their geographic location or because their specialty is considered out of scope as primary vaccinators. GSK is seeking to partner with companies that have innovative new ways to reach HCPs to keep them informed about GSK’s science and provide them with accurate medical information about vaccines.
