Illustraciència is an illustration contest organised by the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid and the Catalan Association of Science Communication in Barcelona.
“ Our goal is to promote scientific illustration in all its forms and reward the work of scientific illustrators through the call for the International Award on Scientific Illustration. For each edition, an itinerant collective exhibition and a catalog with the 40 selected works are made.
Each participant may submit only one illustration. The subject of the illustrations must be related to science or nature and the technique is free.
Awards:-
• Scientific illustration
The winner will receive 600 €.
• Naturalist illustration
The winner will receive 600 €.
