Innocentive What Are the Most Useful Solutions or Services People Are Offering in Support of Those Impacted by COVID-19

This Challenge is asking Solvers to share detailed examples of any solutions or services they have seen offered by individuals or companies in response to the global Coronavirus pandemic. We have been impressed with how the world has rallied together to bring solutions that can impact globally, nationally, and locally in all manner of ways. Yet there is not a single consolidated source of this valuable information and we want to bridge this gap.

This is a somewhat unusual Ideation Challenge in the sense that the Solvers are not expected to provide a solution to any problem. Rather, we are asking for all and any examples of offers being made by companies, individuals, governments, etc. in response to COVID-19 and that might help anyone in need. We are not just looking for headline submissions, but also more local solutions, things that are being offered to help the most in need, things to help with isolation, etc. Validated submissions will be featured on a single, aggregated open and free to access COVID-19 specific solutions marketplace launched by Wazoku and shared with key contacts globally involved in various aspects of tackling COVID-19.

Still, being an Ideation Challenge, it has the following distinct features:

  1. The Seeker guarantees paying at least $2,500 in total awards. However, these will not be paid to individual solvers, but rather paid as a contribution to a cause to be selected by 5 Solvers who will be chosen at random and asked to nominate the cause they would like Wazoku to donate on their behalf.
  2. In the event that this involves original ideas (yours or others), you are not required to transfer exclusive intellectual property rights to the Seeker, in this case you don’t even need to be the owner of the specific IP, but you do need to know it is a true and valid submission (to the best of your knowledge) and not encumbered by IP restrictions. By submitting your proposal, you grant the Seeker a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to redistribute the information submitted for this Challenge on a globally accessible marketplace, and by extension allow anyone who accesses this information the non-exclusive right to distribute it further or act to add enhancements to the information.
  3. Due to the urgency of the COVID-19 situation, we would appreciate your submissions and thoughts ASAP.
