Envisage International Corporation, a leader in the field of international education marketing for students and academic institutions, is pleased to announce the launch of the 2017 InternationalStudent.com Travel Video Contest. Now in its twelfth year, the contest offers current and aspiring international students the opportunity to showcase their creative and storytelling skills to the world while competing for cash prizes, including a $4,000 Grand Prize, a $1,000 Viewers’ Choice Award, and runner-up prizes. Along with the $4,000 cash prize, the Grand Prize winner will also receive their own blog on InternationalStudent.com to document their international journey to the world.
An international education is an invaluable experience, but finding funds to make it happen, or to be able to travel during that time can be difficult for many international students,” said Bryanna Davis of InternationalStudent.com. “Our goal is to allow students from around the world to tell their story while also having the chance to relieve some of the financial burden associated with their international education.
Students enter the Travel Video Contest by submitting their video on or before the October 13, 2017 deadline. Finalists will be announced the week of November 6, 2017. The Viewers’ Choice Award winner, chosen by popular vote of visitors to the site, automatically becomes a Finalist, and the staff of InternationalStudent.com will determine the other Finalists. The Grand Prize and runner-up winners will then be determined by a panel of judges comprised of international educators, supporters and past Travel Video Contest winners including:

The Grand Prize and runner-up winners will be announced November 17, 2017, designed to coincide with the last day of International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to help promote and encourage international education.

The videos we receive from around the world never fail to impress our team at InternationalStudent.com or our judges. Although it’s a difficult decision to choose finalists and winners from amongst the entries, we always look forward to hearing many great stories from quite impressive students around the globe,” said Davis.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and meet one of the two entry qualifications: International students currently studying outside of their home country must create a video that describes a trip they would like to take. Aspiring international students must describe a proposed study abroad.
The video must be less than four minutes long, be creative, engaging and originally produced for this contest. All potential contestants are encouraged to read additional Contest details at http://www.internationalstudent.com/contest/.
Although there are no restrictions on the type of video equipment that can be used to create an entry, the audio and visual quality of the entry will be a factor in determining the winner.
