In 2013, McGill University started its partnership with the Mastercard Foundation Basis to supply the Mastercard Basis Students Program at McGill. This program supplies academically gifted younger leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa with entry to a world-class college training. The Mastercard Basis Students Program at McGill will welcome 91 Students from Sub-Saharan Africa, together with 24 on the Grasp’s degree, over a ten year interval. College Mentorship
– Each Scholar within the Mastercard Basis Students Program is matched with a College Mentor: a professor from their program or college of research.
