The competition is open to everyone except students and faculty at the University of Memphis, United States.
The competition is organized by The Pinch, a literary journal published at the University of Memphis.
The 2023 Pinch Literary Awards accepts poetry (entries must range from 1-3 poems) and fiction (manuscripts can be a maximum of 5000 words).
The 2023 Page Prize accepts non-fiction. Non-fiction submissions should not exceed 1,000 words.
Only unpublished work will be considered.
Awards:- The 1st place winners in poetry and fiction each receive a prize of $2,000. The 1st place winner of the Page Prize receives $1,000.

Entry fees:- The submission fees are $20 for the Pinch Literary Awards and $10 for the Page Prize.
