TimeBanco is a platform that allows neighbors to give their time and then use time credits (utility coin) to get the help of their neighbors who are also using their service. This hackathon is being run by student organizers of the Minority Programmers, an international network of developers teaming together to combat humanitarian issues. TimeBanco is a project of the Minority Programmers aiming to revolutionize the non-profit sector with cutting edge technology.
