Yonsei University was founded in 1885 as the first university in Korea. This prestigious private university is part of the “SKY” universities (Korean Ivies) which is an acronym for Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University. Yonsei Underwood International College (UIC) is Korea’s first liberal arts college in which all the courses are taught in English.
