YPF Industrialización Oil & Gas, the Seeker for this Scouting Challenge, is seeking solutions that can independently confirm the actual physical position of manual valves in its refinery and terminal operations, with real-time visualization of industrial operating data in AVEVA PI to detect changes, deviations, or out-of-sequence actions during product transfers.
A successful solution must integrate with existing manual valves without replacing or fully automating them, provide real-time monitoring, traceability, and deviation detection, and support future scaling across other YPF refineries and logistics terminals.
Proposed solutions should be sufficiently mature for pilot implementation under real operating conditions and scalable to other YPF refineries and logistics terminals.
Collaboration Opportunity
This is a Scouting Challenge seeking a partner or supplier to provide systems and expertise to solve YPF’s business challenge; the Solver is invited to submit a written proposal to be evaluated by YPF with the goal of determining interest in further business and collaboration discussions, including launching a $20,000 pilot, followed by full implementation.
The terms of any subsequent contract, including scope of work, tasks, and duration, will be determined directly with YPF. The monetary value of any additional contract will vary depending on the amount of work to be delivered and the agreed timeframe.
