The International Building Design Competition (IBDC) 2021 is organised by the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supported by the Building Construction Authority (BCA), and in partnership with the following Institutes of Higher Learning:
•Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)
•National University of Singapore (NUS)
•Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP)
•Republic Polytechnic (RP)
•Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)
•Temasek Polytechnic (TP)
IBDC 2021 aspires to provide a platform for students to learn new skills identified under the Industry Transformation Map for the Built Environment Sector and apply them in this competition. These skills include Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) and Sustainable Building Design.
