The 3D Surface Fuels & Vegetation Challenge is looking for solutions to create realistic, high-resolution 3D maps of surface fuels and understory vegetation.
Participants can submit validated workflows and fuels datasets to improve how vegetation and fuel conditions are characterized. Your ideas will help with wildfire response, prescribed fire planning, and and fire behavior modeling across complex landscapes and military lands.
These federal prize competitions are conducted pursuant to the America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010, as amended by the American Innovation and Competitiveness Act of 2017.
