This year, 2026, BDFIL is partnering with the Lausanne Water Department and the Roman Museum of Lausanne-Vidy for its BDFIL Prize for Emerging Comic Artists, which aims to promote emerging artists. With a prize of CHF 5,000 to be shared among the winners, the prize is open to anyone aged 15 and over who has never been published. The theme of the 2026 edition is ” Running Waterways .” The deadline for submissions is Monday, June 15, 2026.
The winners of the three BDFIL prizes will be invited to the opening of the exhibition and the awards ceremony on September 18, 2026, at the Roman Museum of Lausanne-Vidy.
