International Competition of Student Scientific Works “Black Sea Science”.
The competition is held with the aim of improving international cooperation between universities and attracting students to scientific work. Prizes – diplomas, scientific publications.
This competition is annually (already for the fourth time) held on the basis of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies (ONAFT) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine under the auspices of the Black Sea Universities Network – an association of higher education institutions in the Black Sea region. The purpose of the competition is to expand international relations and enhance the scientific work of students. The founders include universities from Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, China, Switzerland, Israel, Georgia, Poland.
International competition of student scientific works “Black Sea Science” is held with the aim of expanding international relations, promoting the scientific work of students as an important factor in the formation of specialists, involving the students in research programs, design and other forms of research activities.
The Competition is held in ONAFT in the following fields:
– Food science and technologies;
– Economics and administration;
– Information technologies, automation and robotics;
– Power engineering and energy efficiency;
– Ecology and environmental protection.
The jury of the Competition in 2020 consisted of 91 scientists, of which 50 were from 18 foreign countries. In 2020, 202 works were submitted for the competition, including 57 works from foreign universities, 140 works from Ukrainian educational institutions. The works were received from 29 foreign universities in countries such as France, Greece, China, Macedonia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Moldova.
