Climate Label for women in energy is a 6-week immersive entrepreneurship program for women students pursuing Masters or PhD in any university in Tamil Nadu.
This program is designed to fuel inspiration, build knowledge and provide hands-on business experience to help you launch their career in Energy Entrepreneurship.
– The program will be offered at no cost to the selected participants
Eligibility
– Women students pursuing Masters or Doctorate(PhD) in any university in Tamil Nadu and have an aptitude for technology.
Remember-You don’t need a business idea to apply, all that is required is an interest in developing solutions on clean energy/mobility/energy access/carbon technologies and a commitment to participate fully throughout the program.
PROGRAM FORMAT:
Phase-1: Induction and Team Formation (1 week): In the first week, you will be introduced to the program and formed into different teams through team building activities. You will be further exposed to clean energy and basics of business literacy to build your foundation in the subjects. Weekly commitment: 4-6h/ week
Phase-2: Startup Simulation: A hands- on learning exercise (3 weeks): In the next three weeks, you will develop entrepreneurship skills through an immersive exercise of simulating some of the energy startups. Weekly commitment: 4-5h/ week
Phase-3: Developing your Business Idea & Pitching (2 weeks): In the last two weeks, we will help you develop your business idea through workshops as well as mentorship. Teams will be further supported in refinement of business model and pitch preparation for the finale Pitch Day.
Weekly Commitment: 4-5h/ week
Eligibility
– Women students pursuing Masters or Doctorate(PhD) in any university in Tamil Nadu and have an aptitude for technology*.
– You can apply as an individual or in teams of maximum 3 members.**
*Students enrolled in diploma or graduate programs like engineering/BSc. are welcome to apply and we will evaluate these applications on a case-by-case basis.
