Edgar Wright’s Last Night In Soho is a psychological thriller about a young woman who leaves her countryside upbringing for the big city of London to follow her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Far from the comforts of home and finding it hard to fit in at school, she escapes through her passion for a world she’s never been in–the retro times and glamorous scenes of 1960s London. But when she encounters her idol, a dazzling singer pushing for her own ‘big break’, the lines between dreams and reality, past and present, the imaginary and the designed, soon blur. Yet 1960s London is not quite what it appears, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.
