Harrogate Spring is Britain’s oldest bottled water, with a history dating back to 1571. Passionate about their originality and distinctiveness, Harrogate Spring wants to provide a unique opportunity to see how creatives from all over the world interpret their brand and celebrate their valued partnership with the Royal Albert Hall.
Harrogate Spring would like to see one design that will sit on both Harrogate Spring Still and Sparkling 500ml PET bottles. The chosen limited-edition bottles will be available to buy at the RAH and across Harrogate Spring’s customer base throughout 2021/22.
Design an eye-catching, culturally rich limited-edition label for Harrogate Spring Water to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Royal Albert Hall.
1 piece of work will be chosen as the Selected Creators and receive £4,000, and 2 pieces of work will be chosen as Finalists, and receive £1,000 each.
- Design an eye-catching, culturally rich limited-edition label for Harrogate Spring Water to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Royal Albert Hall
- Create your design on both the Harrogate Spring Still bottle and Sparkling 500ml PET bottle which is distinguished by different colours. Your design should be adapted and differ in colours to contrast with the white and black logos to not cause customer confusion, however, the actual design should be the same on both bottles.
- Your submission should stand out, be celebratory & joyful. Showcasing the vibrant, diverse culture of RAH, integrating their passion for music and dance and the originality and unconventional approach of Harrogate Spring
- Your designs should be contemporary whilst highlighting the rich history and heritage of the two brands (2021 marks 150 yrs of RAH and 450 yrs since the first mineral spring was discovered by William Slingsby at The Tewit Well in Harrogate)
- Your submission should include 2 elements: your digital design on the flat bottle template, and a mock-up of your design on the bottle (still & sparkling)

- Be inspired by The Royal Albert Hall’s brand guidelines when creating your work. Think of original ways to use the RAH & Harrogate colour palette to inspire your work. You may use complementary colors if you wish
Awards:-
A minimum of 1 piece of work will be chosen by a panel of judges from Harrogate Spring and RAH as Selected Creators. Each will:
- Potentially have their designs produced into a Limited Edition bottle design
- Potentially have their design showcased across social, digital, PR, POS, in the RAH, in retail
- Receive £4,000 for each piece selected
Additionally, 2 pieces of work will be chosen as Finalists. Each will:
- Potentially have their work used across Harrogate Spring’s & Royal Albert Hall’s social and digital channels
- Receive £1,000 for each piece selected
