Harrogate Spring is Britain’s oldest bottled water, with a history dating back to 1571. Harrogate Spring would like to see one design that will sit on both Harrogate Spring Still and Sparkling 500ml PET bottles. The chosen limited-edition bottles will be available to buy at the RAH and across Harrogate Spring’s customer base throughout 2021/22.
Design an eye-catching, culturally rich limited-edition label for Harrogate Spring Water to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Royal Albert Hall.
With a history dating from 1571, Harrogate Spring is Britain’s oldest bottled water and has been revered by Royalty and enjoyed across the world for centuries. First bottled in 1740, it is ‘The Original British Bottled Water’ from ‘The Original British Spa Town’. Harrogate is Internationally-renowned as one of the finest still and sparkling spring waters. Awarded ‘Best Sparkling Water in the World’, Harrogate is recognised not only for its exceptional mineral balance and purity but also for its distinctive, classically British style.
Harrogate Spring operates one of the most technologically-advanced and environmentally-efficient facilities in the world, sending zero waste to landfill since 2010. All bottle components are 100% recyclable, made with 51% recycled content and sourced from within 90 miles of site.
In 2020, they became the first company in North Yorkshire to achieve B Corp accreditation, joining a group of businesses acting in a sustainable and transparent way, achieving the highest environmental and social standards.

A minimum of 1 piece of work will be chosen by a panel of judges from Harrogate Spring and RAH as Selected Creators. Each will:
- Potentially have their designs produced into a Limited Edition bottle design
- Potentially have their design showcased across social, digital, PR, POS, in the RAH, in retail
- Receive £4,000 for each piece selected
Additionally, 2 pieces of work will be chosen as Finalists. Each will:
- Potentially have their work used across Harrogate Spring’s & Royal Albert Hall’s social and digital channels
- Receive £1,000 for each piece selected
