Creative Quarterly (CQ) magazine has opened its 85th international juried competition, inviting participation by professionals, as well as students.
CQ seeks for the best art, advertising, design, illustration and photography done in the past six months.
Winners’ work will be featured in Creative Quarterly’s online gallery and will become a part of their year-end published Annual. All winners will be featured in our 2026 Creative Quarterly Annual, a softbound book which will also list all runners-up.
All winners and runner-ups are entitled to a complimentary award certificate in a digital form and options are available for ordering a printed certificate.
The 85th Creative Quarterly juried exhibition competition includes the following categories:
- Advertising (AD)
- Fine Arts (FA)
- Graphic Design (GD)
- Illustration (IL)
- Photography (PH)
- Portfolio — Work from your portfolio, personal or published
- Theme: Water — Work that exemplifies the quarterly theme
Commissioned and personal works by all art directors, graphic designers, photographers, illustrators and fine artists in all countries, can be submitted.
Creative Quarterly magazine was founded in 2005 and has received numerous international awards and recognition for its design.

Winning work will be featured in our online Gallery immediately after judging is completed and will become a part of our year-end published Annual. All winners will be featured in our 2026 Creative Quarterly Annual, a softbound book which will also list all runners-up. As winners you’ll receive a complimentary eBook version and can also purchase the printed Annual at a discount. Pre-orders for the printed Annual will begin in December.

As a winner or runner-up you are entitled to a complimentary award certificate pdf, and you may purchase a printed certificate in our online Shop.

Single entries (with up to three images) start at $35 per entry for professional work and $20 per entry for work done by Students.
