The Korea SMEs & Start-ups Agency (KOSME) is a non-profit, government-funded organization established to implement government policies and programs for the sound growth and development of Korean SMEs & Startups. KOSME comes under the Ministry of SMEs & Start-ups of South Korea (MSS).
India & Republic of Korea share a long history of friendly relations. Taking this relationship a step ahead, a G2G MoU was signed between Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Government of India and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Republic of Korea on Startup Cooperation. Further to this, the Government of Republic of Korea has opened its door for Indian Startups in IKSC, Gurgaon. As an Initiative to support the Startups, MSS built the India-Korea SMEs & Start-up Center (IKSC) in Gurgaon. IKSC is a first of its kind business center equipped with best of class infrastructure with an objective to provide top facilities & ecosystem connections to startups
IKSC has proposed to provide three Indian Startups (Maximum 2 employees per startup) with free co-working space at IKSC centre for at least one year. The tenure can be extended for one more year based on the decision made by the chief of KOSME India. The startup need not pay any rent for their tenure in IKSC.
