In recent years, sensor technology has made significant strides, offering innovative solutions across various industries. In the skincare segment, sensor-based technology can transform packaging by integrating smart features that enhance user experience, ensure product safety and integrity, and deliver valuable consumer insights. Sensors embedded in skincare packaging can monitor environmental factors, track usage patterns, and provide real-time data to both consumers and manufacturers. This integration has the potential to address key concerns such as product/customer value, user interactivity, and personalized skincare.
Additionally, sensors can play a crucial role in tracking products throughout the supply chain to provide insight to manufacturers on their products’ journeys.

1. What is your outside-the-box idea for how a global skincare company can utilize sensor technology in our packaging to provide enhanced benefits to consumers?
Note:
a. This solution should enhance the user experience, prevent product counterfeiting, and provide added value to the consumer. Additionally, it should be capable of providing data and insights into consumer behavior and habits.
b. Your idea should be a technology that integrates into the packaging and not something like just a QR code (however, your idea can include elements like this).
2. What pain point is your idea solving? How do you feel like this pain point affects the consumers personally and what positive life differences will your idea create?
3. How can sensor or other tagging technology be used in our packaging to track a product throughout the supply chain from the factory to the warehouse, wholesaler, retailer, and ultimately, the consumer.
Note: this should not be something that requires only manual steps such as scanning a QR code. Your idea should be either fully of semi-automated.
4. Please attach artistic renderings of your ideas (a sketch, drawing, mock up, etc.) to demonstrate what they would look like and how they would work. If your ideas are independent of one another, please attach at least two renderings.
