Cold breakfast cereal is a category that has been around for a long time. Over those years, new flavors, formats, and ingredients have been introduced which has led to the current landscape we have for consumers of these products. However, we feel there’s an opportunity to take another look at cold breakfast cereal to see what is missing or how it could be revamped.
When we say “cold cereal,” this covers things like granola, traditional cereals eaten with milk (ex. cheerios, corn flakes, etc.) and natural-based cereal products like Kashi cereals and muesli. We do NOT want ideas for hot cereals like oatmeal or cream of wheat.
