LuganoPhotoDays was born in early 2012 from an idea of Marco Cortesi. The objective is to organize a yearly international photography festival in Lugano that will insert itself among the ones that already exist in other European cities.
The festival LuganoPhotoDays is organized by the non-profit cultural association of the same name based in Lugano (Switzerland).
Each contest is open to all professional and non-professional photographers, who have reached the age of 18 on the closing date of the contest.

LuganoPhotoDays 2021 festival edition, which will also host the awarding of the winners of LuganoPhotoDays 2020 and the related exhibition, is currently scheduled for Autumn 2021.

Awards:-
The overall winner (chosen among the category winners) will receive a prize of CHF 3,000.- in cash and the “LuganoAward 2020” plaque, offered by the City of Lugano (Switzerland).

Entry Fees:-
The entry fee is 25 CHF for the first project submitted, 20 CHF for each subsequent project submitted.
