MG Motor India introduces Developer Program and Grant 4.0 in partnership with Invest India, StartupIndia and technology leaders like Jio-bp, MapMyIndia, Bosch, Fortum Charge and Drive, Exicom Telesystems, Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) and Attero Recycling.
MGDP is an innovation program, which aims to encourage developers and innovators, to build new solutions that solve India’s mobility related problems. It is open to students, innovators, inventors, start-ups and other tech companies. The program offers mentorship and recognition to start-ups along with the opportunity to develop projects and work with MG and its consortium partners. So far over 830 start-ups and innovators have participated in MGDP over last 3 seasons.
The Theme of MGDP 4.0 is Electric Mobility- Innovate for India.
At MG, we believe that while adoption of EVs is crucial for the future of mobility, the market has its unique challenges which need to be solved for India. We see immense opportunity for innovators and startups to create solutions most suitable for India to solve our problems and at the same time build a business at scale. We want to be able to help such ventures on their journey.
We are inviting participation from start-ups, developers or individuals under various categories in Electric Mobility and EV ecosystem including Vehicle design and development, EV components, Charging solutions , Connected car solutions, Customer experience, Insurance and Finance and EV batteries lifecycle management (including recycling, 2nd life solution), BaaS and more.
The program is open for application from external developers (students, innovators, inventors, start-ups and other tech companies) as well as internal teams of intrapreneurs at MG Motor and partner companies.
Awards:-
1. Access to a grant.
2. Award of grant would be at the sole discretion of program jury, based on their evaluation, on a case to case basis.

Non-Fiscal Incentives
1. Specialized, high level mentoring, relevant to practical development of the solution
2. Learning and relevant content for solution and business development
