NCS NEXT Hack 2021

This September, NCS is organizing a hackathon to find innovative solutions for problems across three broad digital themes namely Digital Services, 5G & AI, and Sustainability.

Participants can choose the category they want to compete in Intrapreneur or Innovator. They will have 6 weeks to prepare their application, during which, participants will get to attend exclusive entrepreneurial skills workshops, Keynote speeches, and fireside chats with key opinion leaders from various Industries. In addition, each finalist team will have coaching and mentoring sessions to help them prepare for their final presentation.

Up to 3 Winning teams from the Intrapreneur category will be awarded a cash prize of S$10,000/team and a rare opportunity to incubate their idea via the NCS Incubation Program under NEXT Products and Platform for 3 months minimum, with a 6-month open window to join the program with approval from their practice lead and project director.

10 finalists’ teams will participate in the Finale held on November 24, 2021. (Details of the format (on-line; off-line or physical), of the venue and of the date will be shared with the finalists at a later stage depending on the latest evolution of the official guidelines pertaining to social events)

Teams will have to pitch their ideas for 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes of Q&A in front of a jury composed of Senior Leaders of the industry and investors.

Prior to the Finale, finalist teams will receive Training and Coaching to polish their deck, master the art of pitching, and rehearse their flow. This Training and Coaching will take place between November 8th to November 23rd 2021.

Awards:- Up to 3 Winning teams from the Innovator category will be awarded a cash prize of S$5,000/team.
