This is a hackathon event organized by Sigma University and sponsored by various organizations like the Ministry of Education, the Industries Commissionerate of Gujarat, and others.
The theme of the hackathon is “Sustainability and Environment” with a focus on “Accessibility and Inclusion.”
The event will run for two days from February 25th to 26th, 2025.
The hackathon invites participants to develop innovative solutions addressing environmental sustainability and waste management, specifically focusing on smart irrigation technologies.
The event also encourages participants to create projects that promote accessibility and inclusion for individuals with disabilities using technologies like Speech Recognition, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Gaming.
The winners will receive prize money of up to 50,000 INR.

Must qualify as a startup as per Government of India guidelines (registered and less than 10 years old).
Turnover should not exceed ₹100 crores in any financial year.
Open to all sectors, with focus on Healthtech, AgriTech, EdTech, Clean Energy, FinTech, Manufacturing, and Social Impact.
Eligible stages: Idea Stage, Prototype/POC Stage, or Early Revenue Stage.
Must be legally registered in India and compliant with applicable laws.
Team should have at least 2 members, with one available for pitching.
Startups with Series A funding or higher are not eligible.
Open to startups across India; preference may be given to Gujarat-based startups.
Complete applications with pitch decks and supporting documents must be submitted on time.
Startups in sectors like tobacco, gambling, or those involved in legal disputes are excluded.
Organizing committee’s decisions on eligibility and selection will be final.
Selected startups must adhere to SEDIC’s guidelines and rules.
