The New Year ushers in a wave of creative energy, inviting us to dream with infinite optimism and real intention! We’re looking for Creators to share their own new years’ resolutions or recommend goals for other Creators to set for 2022.
This project aims to identify and purchase up to FIVE original Blog Pitches that will then be developed into Blog Posts for the Tongal Blog, written by you.
We want to help Creators within the Tongal Community hit the ground running in the upcoming year. That’s why we’re eager to engage with the brain power that sustains this global community. Take a moment to think about the intentions you’ve set in recent years, or consider the goals you’ve tossed at colleagues looking to sharpen their craft and steer their professional journeys. We want to hear from those we trust the most, Tongalers! You can frame up your post around:
- Five (5) of your own goals
- Five (5) goals you’d recommend to others, or
- One (1) mega goal that requires you meet some smaller goals first.
Additionally, we’d love for writers to capture one way they plan to use Tongal to meet some of their goals in the New Year.
We suggest that writers focus their resolutions (and writing) on a specific kind of Creator (e.g. animator, director, writer, etc.) creative activity, or overarching goal.

NOTE TO PITCH SUBMITTERS: The Tongal Blog features a mix of Tongal-centric information alongside more general interest topics related to creativity, entertainment, video production, and the lifestyle of independent creatives. Please study our Blog to understand the content we’ve published in the past – and avoid any topics we’ve already covered. Posts tagged ‘Community Guest Post’ were written by your fellow community members! Remember, if your Pitch is selected, you will be the one who writes the final blog post.

DELIVERABLES: A 500-1500 word Blog Post in a text file format (.doc, .odt, .rtf, and .txt file formats preferred)
EXPOSURE:
- The Tongal Blog and Tongal social channels.
- We plan to award a MINIMUM of 5 Blog Posts and may choose to purchase more if submissions are outstanding!
TARGET AUDIENCE: The Tongal Community and creators across the Internet – predominantly writers, filmmakers, directors, animators, editors, and producers.
TONE: We are open to a wide range of tones, from amusing to serious.
