Launched in 2014, the Pabst Blue Ribbon Art Can Contest has put original art on over 300 million cans and awarded over $100,000 to emerging artists. Pabst Blue Ribbon has always strived to empower America’s creators, and recently announced their efforts to commission 1,000 works from creative professionals, as part of their #GrabstAPabst campaign.
Take some chances, think outside the can, and create your own PBR-inspired art that represents you and your style.
- Contestants MUST be 21+. There are NO exceptions.
- Creative Brief open to U.S. CREATORS ONLY.
- Keep the brand logo prominent and within the PBR colors (blue ribbon, white text, red stripe). Incorporate this design within your own creative concept.
- Please use the PBR can art template, to help with the formatting of your artwork submission.
- Keep all concept submissions to a maximum of 6 different colors within the artwork maximum.
- You MAY tweak the PBR logo, but please keep to its originality. See past examples of can art concepts below
- No controversial or offensive imagery. Keep to your creative vision in a positive light.

Awards:-
1 can concept artwork submission will be the Selected Creator. Selected Creator will:
- Receive $10,000 for their selected artwork
- Have their artwork displayed on millions on PBR cans
- Have their design shared across Pabst Blue Ribbon social and digital channels, as well as across PR and POS across the U.S.
Additionally, 2 pieces of work will be chosen as Finalists:
- 2nd place finalist will receive $3,500 for their selected artwork
- 3rd place finalist will receive $1,500 for their selected
- Have their design shared across Pabst Blue Ribbon social and digital channels, as well as across PR and POS across the U.S.
