This month, we’re looking for banner images for LEGO World Builder’s digital library that relate to Earth Day, a celebration of our planet dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection. These images could be anything from simple natural landscapes to minifigures being environmentally-friendly in their daily lives!
A variety of genres, sub-genres, and mashups make up the LEGO World Builder platform, and now is your chance to contribute your ideas! Just take a look at the world tags on the left side of the Discover page – you can choose from Action, Adventure, Escape, Magic, Science Fiction, and many more.
How will you mix these genres? Your image could feature a daring escape from a planet with lush, unique environments, or have two characters battling it out over who can plant more trees! Is it grassy and sunny where your characters live, or are they celebrating Earth Day in the ice and snow? The possibilities are endless – just make sure that the Earth Day theme is apparent in your submissions, and don’t forget that you can submit up to 5 entries!
We’re open to a variety of creative executions, from hand-drawn illustrations to mixed media to stop-motion stills and photographs of your own LEGO sets and minifigs artfully arranged.
If you submit a banner image to this project, you may not submit the same image to the LEGO World Builder platform as original artwork for someone’s world.
