Help us make people’s lives easier, every day! This year FIA Startup Challenge 2nd Edition the categories in the FIA Region I start-up challenge reflect the vast expansion of mobility Clubs over the last decades.
Nowadays their purview reaches not only cars, but also mobility at large, and even wider assistance services that simplify their members’ lives. Do you have a solution in one of the three following areas?
You will be exposed to an international network of 103 Mobility Clubs, perhaps leading to partnerships that will allow you to tap into their 36 million individual members from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Pitch your way to the top and build relationships with decision makers and innovators from the FIA Region I network of Clubs.
We open the call to any start-ups with at least a proof of concept or a minimum viable product, and at least a CEO and CTO (i.e. one business and one tech person).
During the selection process, start-ups are reviewed by innovation experts from Region I Clubs. Shortlisted Start-ups will work together with these experts to identify potential alignment with Clubs’s businesses.
How can mobility Clubs improve and innovate the use of cars in the future?
In this category start-ups are welcome to submit ideas such as in the filed of example: connected car, ownership models, road safety, electric-mobility and the environmental impact of cars.
How can Clubs offer members the best mobility experience and solutions?
Today, users have a big variety of transportation options at their disposal and are redefining their preferred way to move around. Mobility Clubs are looking for new ways to help their members in this transition and to find a mobility option that fits their particular needs.
In this category start-ups can submit alternative mobility solutions such as in the fields of: urban mobility; mobility as a service / on-demand, micro-mobility solutions.

This may include services inside peoples’ homes (e.g. breakdown repairs / security / connected homes) or any personal assistance service (e.g. e-commerce, administrative tasks). How can Clubs support people everywhere, not only when their car breaks down? How can they help people enjoy healthier and happier lifestyles?
