The Global Change Award invites innovators and entrepreneurs from across the world to submit their
early stage ideas on how to improve the sustainable footprint of the fashion industry. We want ideas that can change the way fashion is seen, worn, and made. Ideas that are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and address the global commons: biodiversity, climate, land, ocean and water. To secure a safe and just future for humanity, these resources need to be protected, respected and restored.
The non-profit H&M Foundation launched the Global Change Award back in 2015 with a vision to
accelerate the process of creating a sustainable future for fashion and thereby protect our planet. It
is one of the world’s biggest innovation challenges for early-stage innovation and has even been
called a Nobel Prize of Fashion. Do you have an idea that could help shift the fashion industry from a linear one to a planet positive one?
