Jackson Painting Prize exists to champion exceptional artworks made by international creators at all points in their careers, with tailored prizes aimed to give successful applicants the exposure and resources that are most relevant to them.
For a third year, we will be returning to the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead (6 – 9 May, 2021, Covid restrictions permitting) to exhibit selected works from the Jackson’s Painting Prize 2021 finalists. Founded by Will Ramsay in 1999, the Affordable Art Fair provides an accessible alternative to the traditional gallery scene due to its huge audience and strict price ceiling of £6,000. Over the years it has welcomed over 2.5 million visitors, sold 485,000 artworks and now holds events in 10 cities around the world. Collaborating with Affordable Art Fair Hampstead gives us the perfect platform to showcase our shortlisted entries and prize winners; exhibiting at the fair as a finalist will guarantee vast exposure and kick start artists into a new, grander chapter of their careers. This year we are honoured to welcome back to our panel of expert judges, the Affordable Art Fair UK Fair Director, Elizabeth Dellert.
