Case studies and past experience
– minimum of one proven pilot implemented in India
– Startups with successful implementation in an industrial setup would be provided additional preference.
Currently, ITC Limited has overall RE footprint of more than 50% and is continuously targeting to the increase the same. As part of the ongoing initiatives following are the areas of exploration where we are looking for potential solutions:
– Harnessing Wind Power in states (Kolkata-West Bengal and Munger- Bihar Factory for example) with lower wind energy generation potential and with limited space available (Compact Wind Mills) in factories rather than dedicated wind farm locations
– The solution should be cost effective. In the ideal case the solutions should be indigenous or India based and should be feasible for field implementation.
Awards:-
(1) Paid-Pilot Opportunity: There will at least two paid pilot opportunities – one each at Munger, Bihar and at Kolkata, West Bengal, which will be taken forward in the form of Projects. Each project will have a detailed plan, including commercials, milestones and timelines etc., prepared by the start-up in consultation with ITC. The monetary considerations will be paid out in a combination of advance and staged payments basis milestones reached.
(2) Revenue Opportunity: Given the pilot is successful, the solution could be extended to other ITC manufacturing sites. There is an opportunity of least 10 more such sites.
Non-Fiscal Incentives includes Mentorship from Experts: this depends on the level of readiness of the solutions proposed.
