The BBC micro:bit makes teaching electronics simple and fun. We want to see projects that introduce students to electronics and keep them engaged in learning using the micro:bit!
The micro:bit makes prototyping easy with an onboard LED array, buttons, and a variety of sensors. If you need additional electronics, connect them with alligator clips or use an adapter to plug your micro:bit directly to a breadboard. The new micro:bit also contains an onboard microphone and speaker.
There are two amazing Judges’ Prizes up for grabs!
1. Add an image and text detailing your use of the micro:bit in the classroom for a chance to win one of two Educator Judges’ Prizes. Winners will receive a $250 gift card and be one of the first educators to receive the Autodesk Innovators Kit for Classrooms.
2. Build and program your micro:bit project in Tinkercad’s Circuit simulator to earn our Tinkercad Judges’ Prize! Winners will receive a $250 gift card.
Find inspiration here if needed, and show us your best micro:bit projects for a chance to win our $500 Grand Prize!
