The one-and-only Orbeez are whacky, fun, and full of possibility! Sprinkle the seeds in water, and watch them magically transform into oh-so-satisfying, gotta-have-more, squishy, squeezy, super colorful Orbeez! The question isn’t what can you do with your Orbeez. It’s what CAN’T you do?!
Orbeez are so much more than just weird-feeling, oddly satisfying little beads. There are SO MANY ways to play with them! To help get kids inspired about all the different ways they can use their Orbeez, Spin Master wants you to produce several series of videos designed for YouTube and TikTok that will feed Spin Master’s social channels for four months. These series, outlined below, all revolve around different “buckets” of content that’ll inspire kids to use the products in endless ways. Check out the Background / Additional Details section for more information about the four buckets of content. Your pitch treatment should lay out exactly how you plan to execute each series.
In addition to the four series, you’ll also be editing together compilations based around different themes (think best rainbow Orbeez, best slow-mo Orbeez, best Orbeez smashes, etc.). For the early compilation videos, Spin Master will be providing supplemental content to make sure you have enough footage to edit together. These videos will be comprised of footage provided by Spin Master and footage that you capture.
If you’re greenlit, product will be shipped directly to you from Spin Master – but given product limitations, you may need to tailor your video ideas around what’s available. Videos will be delivered in four monthly batches to supply Spin Master’s YouTube and TikTok channels with content that’ll go live in September through December. At the end of the project, there will be the option to renew for three additional months of videos that’ll go live in January through March.

In addition to this Orbeez project, there are two similar projects live on the Tongal site from Spin Master. This one focuses more specifically on social content for Kinetic Sand and this one focuses on creating ASMR content for both Kinetic Sand AND Orbeez. Be sure to check them out!

- Your videos MUST conclude with an end card provided by Spin Master.
- Show product packaging/branding and mention the brand name (Orbeez) where applicable.
- In your videos, you can use objects/tools/props that are not branded, but you CANNOT use anything noticeably branded.
- Your videos CANNOT feature other toys besides Orbeez.
