We want to develop a mobile based application for delivering financial literacy to Business Correspondents and their customers using Augmented Reality and Machine Learning.
We have observed through different empirical findings that educating moderately literate and rural customers through physical training sessions needs to change and move to a digital, self-operating and fun mode. And we believe that new-age technology like Augmented Reality has the potential to make learning engaging and fun.
With the above in mind, Grameen Foundation India has conceptualised a Technology for Growth and Inclusion Challenge where entities working in the Augmented Reality and Machine Learning domain will design a mobile application for delivering financial literacy to the rural customers and banking agents.
The five shortlisted institutions will get prize money to work on the prototype and the top one/two institution/s will be awarded the contract to develop the final application for the project.
