Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, the Seeker for this Challenge, produces a wide range of products for commercial and private customers and is continually seeking to offer more comfort as well as useful features to make the work day easier, business run better, and spare time and holidays more enjoyable. They are seeking ideas and concepts for inspiring new features that are affordable, modular, sustainable, and easy to install. All ideas are welcome – smart ideas for single features, concepts for modular systems, and even software or apps that make using the vehicles more enjoyable and efficient.
The vehicles produced by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are used in commercial applications such as construction, craft, service, courier, and logistics as well as for private use for travel, camping, and other family activities. Each of these use cases could benefit from new features that are affordable, modular, and easy to install. New and innovative ways to bring your workshop with you, to store large or unusual items, to instantly find items in the cargo or a multitude of other such convenience features would make owning and using a Volkswagen that much more fun. The Seeker is looking for novel ideas and concepts for new features like these that they can utilize over their range of vehicle offerings. While there are several commercially available packages that address some of these areas, the packages are usually quite expensive and tied to a particular vehicle. The focus of this Challenge is on affordable solutions that can be easily installed and transferred between vehicles and into different vehicle types. All ideas are welcome, from single ideas to concepts for complete systems and even for software or apps.
Awards:- There is a guaranteed award. The award(s) will be paid to the best submission(s) as solely determined by the Seeker. The total payout will be $10,000, with at least one award being no smaller than $5,000 and no award being smaller than $1,000.
