The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the world to a standstill, with extreme social and economic effects across the world. But organisations and individuals are already taking bold steps to “bounce back” from the pandemic and help adapt to the new reality posed by COVID-19. Bounce Back Awards is looking for existing projects that are already contributing to the COVID-19 economic and social recovery. We aim to recognise the best projects that will set the stage for the recovery to come, so we can all Bounce Back together.
COVID-19 has transformed our world. In order to control the spread of the virus, countries have closed borders, restricted travel, moved learning and business online, and severely restricted social activities. Supply chains have been disrupted, communities have been brought to a standstill, and the world has changed the way it works and socialises. With vaccination and re-opening plans on the horizon, we are now facing our first year adapting to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
All the while, organisations and individuals worldwide are already taking bold steps to bounce back in innovative ways. Bounce Back Awards is looking for organisations that have endured the effects of the pandemic and adapted their strategies in relation to any of the following nine categories:
Participants of Bounce Back Awards will be recognised through our judging process and the best will be shared globally, showcased both online and in the 2021 Bounce Back Innovation Catalogue.

Blue Globe Innovation is an innovation consultancy specialising in grand challenges, recognition and inducement prizes, SME support, energy access, and fostering open innovation. We work with partners across the globe and with commercial corporations, government offices, academics, and international development agencies. We engage with whole communities to explore ideas and create platforms for innovative solutions to bring about wide-scale change.
