Instructables has hosted a lot of different robot contests over the years, but we have yet to host a contest inviting you to make your own robotic friend. In this contest we are asking you to think about who your ideal robot buddy would be, and to create it! Would it be helpful, silly, playful, lazy or something else entirely?
We are inviting you to create robotic buddies, pets, emotional support robots, personal assistants, or other kinds of robotic companions. We want you to make a robot that you interact with in a personalized way. Consider what its personality is and how it wants to interact with you. We look forward to meeting all of your unique robot friends and discovering all of their different forms and functionalities.
We have two judge’s prizes: Autodesk Design & Make Award for best use of Autodesk software in the creation of your project, and a Student Prize for the best Instructable made by an actively enrolled student.
