RETC 2021 “online edition” is a one-day simulated market challenge. Registration is free. Participants will have the opportunity to win EUR 10,000 in cash prizes.
The primary goal of the competition is to give students the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to actual markets.
• Registration will be open to 42 teams.
• Up to three teams may represent each European university and register. However, the second and third teams will be confirmed only after the registration has closed based on a first-come, first-serve availability assessed by the RETC staff.
• Participants will be allowed to register in teams of 4, with a required equal gender split (2 males and 2 females).
• To register, teams need to complete the registration process by Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at this link: https://retc.luiss.it/registration/.
• Similar to RITC Celebration Edition 2021 (held online on February 19, 2021 | https://financelab.rotman.utoronto.ca/news.asp?name=2020-10-28_RITC-CE), the competition will be based on three Decision Cases on the RIT Market Simulator platform. The Case Package describing these Cases in detail will be released soon on the RETC 2021 website. Practice Servers to practice the Cases will be made available and will run until the day of the competition.
